This interview is another in a sequence of interviews students have conducted with Hugh Mitchell over the past few years (see also SBOH#006). In this interview, Hugh spends some time describing the community he first encountered when he arrived in the early 1970s, and even delves into some of the older history of the Salmon Beach community. At various points of the interview, he also points to the community ethos that he and many others at the beach value, and speculates about some of the features of the beach community that contribute to that ethos.
