Sasha Conlon has a fascinating history at the beach. As he describes in this interview, he was born at Salmon Beach, and through a confluence of events, he now resides in the very same cabin in which he was born. This interview includes plenty of fascinating detail about children’s experiences growing up at the beach, and about the pack of kids who roamed the beach in the 1970s and 1980s. The interview also includes some detail about the current situation with Cabin 84 — that cabin is currently owned by the bank, and Sasha is gamely waiting for that process to reach its conclusion, and to potentially purchase the cabin. Notably, in addition to growing up on the beach, Sasha has also been involved in constructing, reconstructing, or improving many of the other cabins on the beach, and that substantial reservoir of experience percolates through this interview.
